Zumba Gold
Zumba Gold is for the fabulous over 50's. Classes are held at St Michaels Community Centre Welling are every Wednesday 1.15pm -2.15pm £6.00 for 1 hour OR buy 6 and get 1 free! Goshinaikikwai Aikido Club Kent
Founded in 1974 and training in Tomiki Aikido, Goshinaikikwai means "Way of Harmony & Self Defence". Originally based in Dartford we relocated to St Michaels Community Centre Welling in 2007. The club is run on a non-profit basis, by and for it's members. We are a member of The British Aikido Association which is affiliated to The British Aikido Board and recognised by the English Sports Council. Also a founder member of The Association of Dartford Martial Arts Clubs.
All our instructors are first aid trained and qualified and insured with the British Aikido Association. As well as aikido and self-defence, between them they have a vast knowledge of Japanese Martial Arts encompassing judo, karate, iaido, battojutsu, aikijutsu and jodo.

Kumon
At Kumon, our aim is for each and every child to become an independent, advanced learner, with a positive attitude to study.
By studying the maths and English programmes, our students develop independent learning skills and increased self-confidence as they work out how to overcome challenges by themselves.
Through our unique method, children are supported to reach an advanced level of study. By studying beyond the international standard for their age, children are best prepared to succeed in an increasingly global community.

Art Group

Beaming Stars Gymnastics
Beaming Stars Gymnastics Club offers a unique non-competitive approach to Gymnastics. Currently running breakfast, lunch and after school clubs within Nurseries and Primary schools in South London and Kent, Beaming Stars also provide soft play sessions, Fundamental Pre-School Gymnastics and PPA & regular PE/Games cover.

BSSD
Bexleyheath Stage School of Dance prides itself on being one of the longest running, traditional dancing schools where technique and performance is pursued. Janette Williams, principal of the school, was one of the school's first pupils and has now been principal for 35 years. BSSD holds classes in Ballet, Contemportary, Jazz, Tap, Drama, Flexibility, Musical Theatre, Show Class, Singing, Twinkle Toes, Adult Classes and Private Classes.

SSK Karate
The SSK practices the authentic art of Shotokan Karate at dojos (training halls) in Welling, Falconwood and Thamesmead, with more locations to follow. Men, women and children are welcomed, either as individuals or families, who have the opportunity to train in the same hall (but in separate classes). We offer 2 free lessons as well so you don’t have to commit up front.

Irish Community
Irish Community run a monthly service at St Michaels Community Centre Welling. Happy Days Reminiscence group is a facilitated support group for cared for people who have some form of dementia, memory loss or cognitive impairment, and for the carers who are looking after them. An opportunity to remember the past through shared memories, to create life story books and reminiscence boxes, and simply provide a safe and welcoming place for all.
They meet on the 4th Thursday of every month from 11:30am - 1:00pm

Welling Flower Arrangers
Flower arranging clubs and societies joined together in 1959 and formed the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) with help and advice from the Royal Horticultural Society. The Association has been a unifying and guiding influence to thousands of men, women and juniors whose love of flowers has opened up a new world of creativity.
